Big Kahuna Reef is an aquatic, Hawaiian adventure into the deep blue Pacific Ocean. You will be captivated by the variety of fish and sea creatures you can obtain from playing this match 3 or more objects Mac game. Have fun creating your own aquarium of clown fish, sea turtles and other exotic sea life.
The game play of Big Kahuna Reef is to match 3 or more sea items such as sand dollars, white and black pearls, crabs, starfish, sharks’ teeth and much more to gain points toward adding new fish to the reef. In addition to adding beauty to the tank, you will get short information about your collection. The different levels of the game board are shaped in interesting forms: submarine, sail boat, anchor, etc. In order to complete a level you must make your matches and break through each box. The obstacles in your path are the steel boxes you must make 2 matches to break through, the single and double chains you have to make more than 3 matches, and the skeleton fish of Kamehameha. The ultimate goal is to reach the Mask of the Tiki. An extra help to reach this destination in your play is the fish net that will remove any stubborn box in your way.
There are 3 modes of play: relaxed, timed and Mouse Party. Relaxed mode is slower with no time pressure, with timed you must keep an eye on the tiki’s mouth on the sidebar to the right, and in Mouse Party you play with 2 or more people at the same time and on the same computer. You play against an opponent as quickly as possible to outwit and outplay them.
Big Kahuna Reef is an easy game to learn and enjoy. The laid back music and the life-like fishes swimming in the reef only enhanced the Hawaiian motif of this game. The individual games are saved so you do not need to block a large part of your day to play it. So sit back and take a vacation and go snorkeling in the reefs of Hawaii to happy, upbeat music.
