Bubble Ice Age is a Mac arcade match 3 or more shooter game with colorful orbs in a cold, icy setting. There are 4 game modes with different styles, 5 difficulty levels and 11 different models of ice bubbles.
You take aim at the bubbles above and shoot your orb to the colors that match it. To the left of the shooter, you will be able to view the color of the next bubble. Out of the 4 modes, I liked the Puzzle mode the best. The bubbles descending toward the bottom is placed in different, interesting patterns. The other modes have a block of different color orbs traveling down the screen. As for the difficulty levels, I would avoid the Baby level. It’s too, too easy and gets boring quickly. If you are new to the play, try the Medium and adjust to your liking.
There must be a audience for this type of play since this is the second bubble shooting match game in a short while. Earlier Bubble Shooter came out, and it’s very similar to this game. To me they are the same, but I liked Bubble Ice Age a little more. Try both games and see if you prefer one over the other. It may just be as minor as preferring blue over lavender backgrounds.
