Burger Shop 2 Review

Aside from a strange and mysterious set of events that leads the main character to his start of the burger business, Burger Shop 2 revolves around the already established man (no doubt from the first Burger Shop) waking up to discover his former burger shops are gone. Now starting from scratch again, the disgruntled but determined fry cook begins to rebuild his diner empire at a run down shop at the edge of town. By serving the masses this man is on a mission to make the tips as fast and as satisfying as possible.

Burger Shop 2 is another point and click food service themed computer game that at first looked as generic as it played. However, once getting into the bulk of the game play there was one feature in Burger Shop 2 that set itself aside from all the other food service games. Once finished with an order, instead of making a little character run around to serve the customers, players can actually just right click or press the spacebar to fling the order straight to the customer and not waste time. It is a simple concept but a very pleasing one as most of these types of games get extremely annoying clicking and setting up a queue of actions that could be false or out of order. This small detail honestly made Burger Shop 2 a good game to play. Other than that the rest was the same as any other diner or restaurant inspired game. You point and click to make the food in certain orders and in a certain amount of time to serve everyone.

Burger Shop 2 gets difficult over time with the menu and customers expanding into different tastes and complexities. I enjoyed the fact that different scenarios would offer breakfast, lunch and dinner food instead of all the same food every time one played. I would give Burger Shop 2 a 4 out of 5 stars. A rare food game that was addictive and interesting enough to play.
