Ancient Tripeaks 2 2

Ancient Tripeaks 2 has 16 different tripeak games with unlockable levels and combo-based scoring. This game with a Greek mythology theme is an addictive and enjoyable card play.

The goal of each play is to remove all the cards from the game board within a certain time period. You use your pile to remove a visible or a card face up that is higher or lower than your card. If you do not have one that fits the criteria, you must use the reserve pile (the number on top of these cards tell you how many cards you have left) to the left of your cards. If you use all your reserve cards before clearing the board, you lose the game. This will take a little strategy and a little thinking to complete the many configurations that are presented. Combos are rewarded more points, and the screen outlines all the statistics for you to view quickly while playing.

Ancient Tripeaks 2 is just as good as Ancient Tripeaks. The difference is the story line. The original version explores the tales of the ancient peoples of South America, and Tripeaks 2 is about Greek mythology. Zeus in a jealous rage destroys 8 statues of Greek heroes. Your job is to complete the puzzles within the time period and build the statues at the same time. It’s fun seeing the little people erecting the heroes at the left of the screen while you conquer the cards. All the games are fun but many are more than challenging in their formations so you get a lot of playability in this addictive card game.

Solitaire Epic Review

SE 2

Solitaire is the classic card game that requires no other player but yourself. Put in some tropical island backgrounds and a few different game modes to play and you have Solitaire Epic. Mix and match, go up and down numbers, or play the regular game of solitaire in this colorful card game.

The complexity of Solitaire Epic does not go far, but the game runs smooth, the new types of solitaire are easy and fun to pick up, and for some reason I felt that beating the solitaire game was actually necessary. Solitaire Epic has card assortments to choose from before games so layouts of cards seem different each game. Other than that the rest is self-explanatory. It’s a solitaire game with its own brand of cards and its own types of playing maps.

I give Solitaire Epic a 3.5 out of 5 stars. It’s fun but it’s also solitaire.

Five Card Deluxe Review

Five Card Deluxe

One of my favorite genres of games is card games. Five Card Deluxe really captured the key to my gaming heart by combining two of my favorite card games, solitaire and poker. The point of this game is to create poker hands from the cards given to you one at a time (in a similar way to solitaire). Once you get five cards in a row that make a poker hand, the slot clears and you can move on to making a new hand.

There are four game modes: Challenge, Freestyle, Jokers Wild and Tournament. Challenge asks you to make specific hands like a three of a kind, a straight and a pair. Once you complete all the required hands, you pass the stage. Freestyle is exactly as it sounds, a free mode where you try to get as many point as possible. It is the same thing for Tournament, score as many points as possible to advance. Finally there is Jokers Wild. This was probably my favorite part of the game as you score a specific number of points to complete the level, but at certain stages, you are rewarded with joker cards. These cards can be used to complete hands and become the best card possible for that particular hand. I thought this was awesome and it allows you to get some hands that would be impossible to wait for (i.e. a royal flush).

Card games are a favorite of mine, but this game was just awesome. I thought the combination of both solitaire and poker worked really well. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys either of these games, as it is incredibly fun and has an infinite replayability. I give this game five out of five stars.
