Children are good at jigsaw puzzles and enjoy doing them. Jigsaw Puzzle Player – Kids has 2 sets of colorful alphabet series and also 40 bible scenes. Each puzzle has different amount of pieces for a challenging time. The alphabet scenes are colorful and with fun animal characters. The bible pictures are clear and understandable scenes for growing and learning children.

To put the puzzles together you click on the pieces first to rotate it to the upright positions, divide similar ones together and finally to interconnect the pieces. The corner pieces will be easily visible and can be placed in its respected locations. I find the sides are usually the next group of pieces to connect on the board and then I work on the middle of the scene. When the piece is in its correct place it will make a noise and snap into position on the game board. The pieces will stick together until you need it and are easily moveable as a group.

I think kids, who can maneuver a mouse easily, will be entertained by this jigsaw puzzle packet. The biblical pictures will be an individual, personal preference, but everyone will enjoy the cute animal and object alphabet puzzles. In addition it is a great educational experience for the younger ones to learn their alphabets and biblical stories with manageable number of pieces.

Santa Claus needs help from you in Santa’s Super Friends, an action filled Mac game. A problem arose with one of the production workers at the toy factory and that person was fired. In retaliation Stanley Reek stole all the toys days before Christmas. You have to help the elves make enough toys for all the good children in the world.

There are 2 modes to this lively game with seasonal type music. A conveyor belt snakes around the workshop bringing different colored toy parts down the line. You must match the color and the pieces to make one complete toy. The brown teddy bear must have a brown head, body, right arm, left arm, right leg and left leg. Initially there are few colors and few parts to complete a level in the Quest mode, but that slow work stops quickly and there are more parts, more colors and different types of toys coming down the conveyor belt. You must put together a number of toys before the level is complete. In Survival mode parts keep coming down the line until they reach the warning sign and ends the game.

Since there are 3 difficulty levels, children and casual gamers can both enjoy this play. It does get challenging in the higher levels because Santa is in a hurry and needs his toys as soon as possible. This is a fun play at any time and being a Christmas theme is an added plus.

Airport Mania is a delightful, pleasant Mac game for children. This game will teach the kids to maneuver the mouse/cursor to land the adorable airplanes at 8 different airports with 84 levels. In addition it will help them learn their colors, and how to match each color plane to the same colored loading and unloading areas. Also it will instruct the kids the importance of waiting your turn and patience at airports.

The play is to land the airplanes, unload the passengers, load passengers and take off. As the game progresses there are more and more planes, so at times a plane may have to wait for a gate (how many times have we had to do this?). Additional obstacles are the refueling areas and repair hangars. Some of the helps are the parking spaces, additional runways, and more loading and unloading areas. There are also secret paper planes to discover.

I found kids enjoyed the happy, colorful airplanes with their squeaky sounds. The children must be old enough to be able to handle moving the mouse/cursor around to negotiate the planes, however once they’ve mastered this function, they can enjoy the play without much trouble. Airplane Mania is educational with a lot of fun added.
