Chocolatier Review

Chocolatier

Who didn’t want to make chocolate when they were younger? Now with Chocolatier that dream comes true as players are whisked away into the complex business of making chocolate. Whether running errands to keep your chocolate factory stocked, or making the chocolate itself, Chocolatier is a role-playing experience packed with all aspects of running a successful chocolate business.

Once acquainted with the basics of fine chocolate, Chocolatier becomes a very addictive string of buying ingredients, creating chocolate, and selling your quota. By making money and expanding your knowledge of chocolate, your character is able to expand factories and new chocolate recipes.

Chocolatier is a Mac game made up of a series of decisions and numbers. Although not extremely complex, the need to restock and sell becomes a little monotonous at times. Overall game-play seems more like clicking the same buttons on one track of the story mode. Other than that, Chocolatier is different and amusing at times, especially helping an old deaf man make chocolate. I give Chocolatier a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
