Dairy Dash Review

Flo is at it again in Mac game Dairy Dash. In this sim play Flo encourages a family to help their Uncle Bill change to an organic farm. Flo will buy the produce from them and use it in her diner.

The play starts when the sun rises and the animals come out of their homes. The icon above their heads will let you know what they want. If you see the food picture above the goats’ heads, click on the food bin, then click on the animal to feed it. If they are thirsty, click on the well and then the parched animal. When the animals need to be milked, click on the animal and then on the milk bottles to store away.

If that is all, it would be easy, but you know the chores increase at each level. The chickens need to be fed and eggs taken away. The cows’ feed must be processed before the cows will eat it. The great thing about this farm is when more family members come to help, the play goes much faster with another helper assisting with the chores. The closest one will automatically handle the tasks. If all this is not enough, Flo keeps calling for eggs and you must click on the telephone to respond to her requests during your busy farm day.

The other mode is Endless where the play is similar, but when a plant or animal loses all their tiny hearts, you lose one big heart at the bottom of the screen. When all five big hearts are gone, the game is over.

I really think the Diner Dash people have mastered the cartoon sim story and game. Even though the games are similar, they are almost always enjoyable to tackle and challenge your skills. Dairy Dash is a good, fun game to play any time.

Rating: ★★★½☆
