Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble is an old fashion 1920’s mean girls gone wild Mac game. Unlike any sims play around, it’s more like a RPG/card game similar to Magic Stones; not as violent but the verbal attacks going back and forth with mini games resembling card plays has a very familiar feel to it.
To begin this game you choose a queen of your school gang. You need to recruit girls to be in your gang by challenging each one. A play is a verbal insult match. You select the queen’s response to the other girl’s attack as you would do in a rpg game. If the words hurt her, you win, and she joins your gang. You move the mouse or cursor to the edge of the screen and it will take you through the classrooms and school grounds where you will find people waiting as metal objects. You click on those items and you can talk or challenge them. Don’t let the queen take on all the challenges because if she should lose then you will lose one of the girls in your gang who will sacrifice herself and go to another gang. If a gang member loses, she leaves for a while and the other girls gain talent faster.
The many different games are the taunts where they verbally say things that may hurt or insult the other girl. You have a choice of taunts and if you pick the correct one, it’ll take down your opponent. If you choose the fib game your opposing member has card suits and you have the same where only a few are showing and you or your enemy must bluff your way through this card like game. In expose play there is a hidden phrase and you have a few card symbols to unveil some of the words.
At first even though this game sounded a little childish and petty due to the insulting and nasty attitudes of the girls, some of the puzzles are interesting to figure out. However, after using the same words and same kinds of puzzles over and over, it gets a little boring and repetitive. I think the artwork is different from the usual cute, modern day cartoon sim plays, and the puzzles are different and initially enjoyable.
