Help all the ailing pets and animals in the Mac game Dr. Daisy Pet Vet. This sim type of play will inform the kids on the importance of check ups for your pets and responsibility all in a limited time frame. Next time you are at the veterinarian’s you’ll understand why there is always a long wait.
This game is in several languages so if you have a student who is studying another language, this game can be helpful in learning that language in a fun and pleasurable way. Dr. Daisy is on the job training to be a pet veterinarian on the 1st day. She has a lot to learn and many patients to take care of in a very short time. She must rush around keeping her clients happy and helping their ailments. Her goal is to reach the green line in the Happiness Meter located to the right, and before the clinic closes (clock to the left). In addition, she must keep the clients from leaving the hospital because they are anxious or unhappy. She will be examining dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits and many more exotic pets.
The pets will come in with many ailments such as dog halitosis from not brushing regularly to cat allergies where the cats are allergic to themselves. She must take care of all the animals quickly and could garner more points by doing combos or taking care of more than one pet at a time.
This game is very cute and fun for all children and casual gamers. It is a bit repetitive but there are 5 different work environments and more than 30 pets to deal with so you can be entertained for a while. This game is similar to Fitness Frenzy, but with the animal noises and sounds, I think it will keep young children interested longer.
