Dream Chronicles is a seek and find Mac game. It’s atmosphere of being in a dream like state helps enforce the title’s theme. Lilith the Fairy Queen of Dreams put a spell on the entire kingdom and put everyone into a deep sleep, except Faye wakes up from her slumber and finds that her husband, Fidget, is missing. She hears his voice and must search and rescue him from Lilith and solve the mystery of the sleeping land.
Faye must uncover clues throughout her house and the kingdom. You must help her by clicking on objects to reveal clues and assists. Some of the objects will help you progress in the game, and others will be gems scattered throughout Faye’s journey. She hears Fidget’s voice giving her obscure clues, and you must figure out what everything means so she can go on with her tasks.
In order to continue on her journey Faye must use tools, and items to fix or use to carry on with her mission. In addition there are many puzzles to solve to aid her in her search.
Dream Chronicles with its soothing music kept my attention and interest searching and looking for all the items in each area, and also using items as tool to continue on Faye’s way. With 18 environments, 115 dream pieces and many mini puzzles it will keep everyone involved and curious throughout the play. Find out what happens to Fidget and if everyone wakes up from their sleep.
