Fishdom is one of the better Mac games I’ve played. You can create your own cool aquarium complete with fish, all the plants and equipment you will need for your own tank.
The match 3 or more like items part of the game is almost a side thing since building your own aquarium takes up half of the game. You earn your money from the match game and then buy your tank supplies including the tropical fish, air filter, lights, and plants. These things are measured by the meters on the top right side of the tank. The Fish, Beauty and Comfort meters should be equal to maintain a good environment. Of course, when you reach higher levels you have access to a new tank, fish, and ornaments.
The match game is awesome also. The items in the squares are all aquatic related: shells, jellyfish, sea snails, starfish, crab and turtles. You need to make matches over the golden tiles to collect them. When all the gold squares are cleared, the level is finished.
The helps in the game are the firecrackers that destroy a radius of 1 tile all around, Depth Bomb has a 2 tile radius and the Lightning destroys all the same type of items on the game board. You just swap it with the piece you want to destroy and, POW!, all the same objects clear out. Remember the faster you finish a level the more money you make to spend it in the aquarium shop to buy goodies for your tank.
Fishdom is a great aquarium match game to relax and hang out with your friends. This game will provide you with hours of pleasure, and it is fantastic for everyone. I would recommend it to anyone. Your entire family will enjoy it. I give this game 4.5 out 5 for an awesome play.
