Like Sudoku Epic, Kakuro Epic is a basic cross sum or kakra game. This game is for those who enjoy simple math puzzles and challenges. There’s a game for every level from easy to hard and from 6×6 to 14×14 grids. The music is Asian like and easy to listen to while playing this game.
The goal is to fill in all the cells with numbers that when the sum of a row or column matches the given clue in the black cells. You begin by clicking on a number listed in a column to the right of the screen. Then you click on a cell to place the number in that spot. The button with the minus sign on the upper right will clear the cell of any number.
Kakuro Epic will even help you if you need it. The show mistakes button will show you in red when you make an error, the show random cell will place a number randomly in different cells, show desired cell will place a number in the cell you want, the auto markup will place all the possibilities in each cell and the solution will show you the entire answers to the grid.
This is a good basic game like Sudoku Epic to have in your library of games if you are into math. Unlike Sudoku, you will have to like to add numbers to logically solve the many puzzles in Kakuro Epic. An added bonus is the editorial where you can place newspaper games into the grid to solve and correct daily for Kakuro addicts.
