You won the World Culinary Workshop award of $1,000,000! The Internal Revenue took $350,000, school tuition was $150,000, $500,000 went to the new restaurant, leaving you with no cash. Now what do you do? You work in your restaurant with your 2 chefs and earn some money. Luck would have it, and you are selected to appear on the TV show Kitchen Brigade to win a new restaurant.
Mac game Kitchen Brigade is a sim play where you serve your waiting customer the meal they ordered. The clients will appear at the top of the screen and when you click on them, the needed ingredients for their meal and how to prepare them are revealed. You have 2 chefs working for you. You manage what they need to do by clicking on an ingredient like an onion and dragging it to the chef next to the chopping board. She will proceed to chop the onion. After she finishes you click on the diced onion and it will go back to the client until it is needed. The chef next to the stove can boil or fry the food when you are ready. If both chefs are busy, you can do either of those duties. This is something different from other sim cooking plays. Managing other chefs will free up your time to better complete the orders and eventually the level.
Kitchen Brigade is easy to pick up and learn with their simple and clear tutorial. The chefs are a great help in the play and learning how to prep meals is fun. I think this sequel to Cooking Academy is more interesting and enjoyable to play. Let’s get started and win the top prize on Kitchen Brigade.
