Mystery of Unicorn Castle Review

After his death Sir Roger gathered all the descendants of the ancient House of Morion at his castle in the Mac hidden object game Mystery of Unicorn Castle. They are all from different aspects of life. The castle is haunted with a “secret heart”. Many have tried to find it but failed miserably through the years. In his will Sir Roger requested the final search by family members to be confined in this mansion with no outside contact. Do they know there is a family curse where members go crazy and spend their entire life in the castle?

There are many different types of hidden object games in Mystery of Unicorn Castle. You will need to look for pairs of things like 2 kettles, 2 feathers and 2 hamburgers. You can only complete the goal after finding both items. Also there are the usual find the outlined figures and differences in 2 pictures. Objects may be hidden inside furniture so when you move your cursor over an area, you’ll see it change to identify that you may need to do more to get inside the area. Quick finds will earn high scores so move fast through each scene, especially if you are playing the timed mode. Hints are available but need to be recharged after each use. In addition there are many mini games like the match 3 or more items, repair the broken glasses and connect the lines puzzles throughout your play. These games will allow you to open locked places.

The castle is large and you go from room to room in search of the secret heart. You are Jane Morion, the lone American relative, meeting for the first time the other family members like Samuel Murphy, retired cop, Henry Jonathan Wilkins, historian, and Sophie, a not so friendly cousin.

The HOG play is okay with good artwork and an interesting, but not exciting story. Waiting for each level to load was a little slow and the match 3 game was a little clunky. With a few differences from most HOGs, you might want to try it to see if Mystery of Unicorn Castle is something you might like.
