It’s Alicia’s birthday and her rich grandmother wants to see her at her boutique. Wondering what fabulous outfit granny will give her for Alicia’s big day, she rushes to meet her grandmother. To her surprise, grandma presents the shop to her to run and manage. With that as the premise of the game, you are challenged to handle many different duties of a popular dress shop.
The customers will enter the shop and wait at entrance with their requests appearing above their heads. You will click on customers and drag them to their desired location. If they need help from you, you click on them again to scroll through different outfits until you see them smiling. From that location they may want to go to another station to look for something else. Then you click on them again and drag them to their second site. After they leave a location, you may need to click on that spot to clean it for the next client. People do not need help at the shoe station so you do not need to stay there. After their shopping, the customers will go to the register and queue up at that spot. You need to click on the register to receive payments from the customers.
As you meet your daily goals, you will have money to purchase upgrades to your shop. This may include a plant to decorate the store, another changing station or another hat counter. Like other sim time management games, you will be getting more and more impatient clients, but just like other plays, you will get upgrades to help you in the game. Keep an eye on the clock in the top left because once the shop is closed no more new customers will be allowed in, but you can help the remaining clients. With each successful day, time will come when you do so well that granny will give you another shop.
A side game is when your wealthy and fashion savvy customers who know what they want will appear in a swirly, fuzzy outline and you have to go and pick out what they like. This game is not as hard as it sounds since you have a couple of options to choose from. If you stick to the basic color scheme, you will be safe.
The artwork is colorful and cute, and if you are interested in fashion, you’ll enjoy this play. It is not as challenging as some other games, but is a pleasant and an enjoyable time. The customers do not get so impatient that you get frustrated, but there are upgrades to appease them with discounts.
