RollerRush Review

RollerRush

To keep with my theme of food, I recently played the game RollerRush.  In this game, you are a girl who works at a 50s style diner and must cater to the endless stream of customers.  As the name suggests, you are on rollerskates and must take the orders to their cars.  It is a process that requires you to first take the order, place the order, take the food to the car, give the bill, and then take the trash to the dumpster.  While this might not seem too bad, you have to worry about the same process for 4 cars at the same time.  Plus the customers quickly deduct from your tip, the longer they have to wait.

Overall, this game was interesting but lacked something that made it truly worth replaying.  It was a good idea and the game is relatively fun, but it begins to get monotonous.  The thing that maybe saves the game is the soundtrack, which is a fun sounding 50s style jukebox.  The music could get a little annoying at times, but for me, it was probably the best part.  Aside from that, the game does keep you occupied, as you quickly click around catering to the many customers that seem to come endlessly.

Personally, I do not like games where you just click around, but this game was more interesting than I expected.  I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.
