Romance of Rome is a very involved hidden object/seek and find Mac game for everyone. Enjoy a pleasant afternoon looking for items throughout ancient Rome and find the precious imperial relics for the emperor.
The hidden object play is straightforward with the items pictured at the bottom of the screen to uncover in the game board. Many of the items are foreign looking so I guess they showed the item instead of using words. Even though the objects are pictured it still is a little difficult to spot and may need to use the hint buttons at times. In addition some of the objects will go to the right of the screen to use later or at another site to open another object. The task portion of the game is interesting and takes a little thinking to unveil the purpose of each tool.
Another fun part of this game is to elevate the status of Marcus, your hero in this tale. He finds excitement and many opportunities to increase his pocketbook and his Roman citizen status.
Romance of Rome with its many story lines and fun hidden object plays and tasks is a great game to play for children and casual gamers. Enjoy the travel back to ancient times and elevate Marcus to a royal member of the Roman imperial family.
