Sally’s Quick Clips Review

Sally's Quick Clips 6

It’s a match game. No, it’s a sim play. No, it’s both match and sim plays mixed up into one fantastic Mac game Sally’s Quick Clips. The game uses the match play to earn tasks for Sally’s Salon. Once you earn enough points for a shampoo or haircut, you enter the sim play by choosing the style that the customer likes, and of course, it is timed.

This is a follow up to sim Mac game Sally’s Salon where our main character, Sally, built her haircutting empire to national fame. Sally reminisces with her good friend Nell about the good old days when sitting at Aunt Maggie’s house hatched the idea of her business. Has it been 10 years since that day? It’s hard to believe and even harder to imagine Sally will now go on TV to compete for $100,000.00 against 11 other competitors in a match game challenge.

You begin your play with a fast match game with plenty of power-ups and bonuses. You must match enough tasks like shampooing to dyeing hair in order to start the sim play at the bottom of the screen where clients are waiting to be serviced. Like in the first sim play Sally’s Salon, you must scroll through different haircuts or hair colors until the client has a large smile on her/his face.

Upon completing levels, you are in front of an audience competing against Nell and others in a match game to win the big prize. Sally’s Quick Clips is a fun, fast paced match/sim Mac game that will test your skill and speed in both genres of plays. I’m not much of a sim player, but I was able to hold my own in this game. Both match and sim gamers will enjoy and appreciate the 2 types of games. Maybe you’ll convert to the other? Just saying. In this game you get the best of 2 worlds in a fun and lively story. So come on over to the dark side and try out a different game made for both children and casual gamers.
