Challenge your mind and take care of your brain by playing Mac game Super Collapse! Puzzle Gallery 5. It has 300 new puzzles, a hint feature and fantastic images to choose from and solve. The puzzle gallery is cleverly presented and fun to do.
The play is simple. Clear all the color blocks from the screen. Click on groups of 3 or more blocks to remove, but it’s not that simple when you end up with only 2 of the same color blocks at the bottom of the screen. You need to think ahead and anticipate which order to clear the blocks or you will end up with some tiles left over. The gallery will show you the subject of each group of puzzles, their difficulty level and the names of each screen. Once you complete a puzzle, it will be marked with a large green check mark. If you get stuck, there is a hint button to help you.
There are helps and power-ups along the way. The color bombs will remove all blocks of the same color, the super bombs will destroy the surrounding blocks, and the row and column bomb will get rid of either an entire row or column. There are obstacles in the puzzles that you must work around or destroy.
The stats will at the end of the game show you the least amount of moves in each puzzle and the number of your moves. Once you get better at solving the puzzles, you start challenging yourself to meet the least moves to win trophies.
Super Collapse! Puzzle Gallery 5 started out slowly for me, but after I got the hang of each puzzle, I got into it, and I was challenging myself to make the least number of moves to beat the level. I didn’t see all the power-ups, but I guess they are in the locked puzzles. I did come across 2 bombs (a dog picture) and that was fun to play.
The best part of this game is the gallery of funny and interesting puzzle designs. It’s very cleverly done, especially the many scenes like the librarian, surfer, the Maneki Neko (shown above) and the many different patterns. Challenge your mental fitness and attack these puzzles for an enjoyable and relaxing time.
