Tropico Jong Review

Tropico Jong

Tropico Jong, as the title suggests, is a tropical themed Mah Jong game.  The point of this, as with all Mah Jong games is to remove all the tiles by matching pairs of two.  This game has the typical tiles with dots and numbers on it, but also has fruits, flowers, exotic birds, and butterflies.  The main objective of each level is to “catch” the different types of butterfly tiles (which you don’t have to match with another, but only select each one individually).  These butterfly tiles are usually hidden at the bottom, so you end up getting rid of the entire board by the time you reach the bottom anyway.

I enjoy puzzle games, and this game was very fun.  It’s kind of easy to begin with, but it becomes more and more difficult as the levels progress.  The music was very relaxing, so I felt very laid back and comfortable while I was playing.  People who do not enjoy these types of games should avoid Tropico Jong, as it is a Mah Jong game, but if you have never tried one before, this seems like a good place to start, as it is user-friendly and aesthetically appealing.  I would give this game four out of five stars.
