World Mosaic Review

World Mosaics is an unique puzzle with 99 levels in a story mode. The elusive Pelasgians or the sea people have 8 puzzle mosaics that Dr Remington wants to solve to receive the mystical powers of these people. He has solved 7 of puzzles but the 8th eludes him.

The play is different from any puzzle I have played. You are presented with a blank grid starting from 5×5 squares and increasing in numbers. There are numbers outside of the grid horizontally and vertically. They may be 1 number or more for each column and row. The numbers will give you the pattern for each. If for a 5×5 grid, you have the number 5 in one row then all the squares in that row can be turned over to reveal the blue globes with the brush cursor. If a column has 1,1,1 that means the first square has a blue globe, the second does not, the third has a globe, the fourth not and the fifth a globe. You use the brush to turn over the globes, but must use the shovel for the empty squares. The grids increase with higher levels making them quite challenging.

This is a straight logic puzzle with hints available after the jar in the right is filled with sand after solving part of the grid. In addition to the 99 puzzles, there are 100 extra puzzles giving you over 10 hours of intense play. I like this kind of game and recommend World Mosaics to anyone who enjoys logic puzzles.
